Beacon in the Storm

Beacon in a Storm

My Precious Child,
You’ve been going through a hard season where every moment of every day is a hurtle to jump
over. So many obstacles and impossible decisions to make. It feels like you’re living in a never
ending storm.

Remember: I am your beacon in the storm. Keep your eyes xed on the light of my love and I
will bring you safely to the other side. Lay down the burdens you’ve been carrying. Visualize
placing them in my hands. I am able to take that weight that’s crushing you and carry it for you.
When you surrender your life and join with me and learn from me, I will restore your broken and
shattered soul. My Word and Presence are a healing balm that will permeate every area of you,
bringing complete healing and restoration.

I love you my precious darling girl. Bask in my love. Feel my arms surrounding you. Because of
Me, You are not a victim of your past. In fact, this situation that you thought would destroy you
is actually making you stronger! You will have even more strength, compassion and empathy
for the hurting and broken than you had before. That’s what I do: I turn your mess into My
Message. What the enemy meant for your destruction I am turning it into good for you, your
family and all of the people you come in contact with. So rest my child, let go, and rest in Me.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I am your
oasis; a cool, owing, lush refuge in the middle of a parched, dry desert.

Just as a natural oasis is fed by underground springs, My Spirit feeds your parched and thirsty
soul from the inside of you and it pours out to others. My Word gives light, wisdom and
direction when you feel lost and completely depleted in your hard labors. So come to
Me my child for I will ease, relieve and refresh your soul. Join your life with Mine* and
learn My ways, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will nd true rest for your
souls. For all that I will require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear. (Matthew
11:28–30).

*Verse 29 Or “bend your neck to my yoke”. The metaphor of a yoke is that it joins
two animals to work as one. It is not simply work or toil that is the focus here, but
union with Christ
