About Me

Welcome, friends, to Restoring Hearts to Him! I’m Michele Schefke (pronounced “chef-key”), and I’m passionate about sharing God’s message of love and hope with those who are navigating the challenging waters of trauma, loss, and addiction.

As someone who has personally faced these hardships, I understand the pain and struggles that can accompany them. As a younger woman, I lost my first husband suddenly and tragically. This loss led to years of emotional suffering, which resulted in prescription medication addiction, alcoholism, and suicidal thoughts. But because I chose to let Jesus heal me, I am still here today, walking in victory—sober, stable, and full of the joy of the Lord. God has placed a burning desire on my heart to share how He has helped me and to point others to Him. I’m here to help you find your own path to victory through God’s amazing love and grace.

My mission with Restoring Hearts to Him is to create a welcoming space where you can find solace, support, and the strength to heal. Here, you’ll discover not only my own testimonies but also powerful devotions, life-changing scripture, and inspiring stories from my dedicated team, who will share their journeys of faith and resilience.
